Turns out he already knew that Kwon was a suspect and this is why he got close to Kwon, “but it seems that I’ve failed.” Jae Pyo admits that he doesn’t want Cho Rim to be dragged from station to station just because she’s the witness, and also because once her memories return, he wants to catch the culprit himself. In the morning, Yeom and Moo Gak meet with Jae Pyo and ask why he didn’t reveal that Cho Rim was the witness.
Just stay with me and don’t go anywhere else.”Ĭho Rim cries and apologies, “I feel so guilty that I cannot do that.” She walks past Moo Gak, leaving him behind. “Cho Rim, don’t worry about all these things. “This is a ridiculous reason and I refuse to accept it.” She starts to tear, “Because I’m the witness, and because my name is Choi Eun Seol…because of me, your sister died.”Moo Gak says insistently that it was the murderer who killed his sister and that he realises that this was the reason why she broke up with him. He reminds her not to wear the same clothes again since he probably associates people with their clothes.Ĭho Rim finally decides to be honest with Moo Gak but realises that Moo Gak has already found out who she is. He praises her quick thinking and she thanks him for saving her. This is why she didn’t make a sound so she’s sure he didn’t recognise her. Moo Gak nods, “Undoubtedly.” Cho Rim reveals that Kwon has prosopagnosia – he has problem recognising people’s faces and uses the voice and various memories to recognise the person. When he turns to leave, she recalls, “He called me Choi Eun Seol.” When Moo Gak turns around, she repeats, “Kwon Jae Hee…that person called me Choi Eun Seol, and he asked if I remember him.” Moo Gak clenches his jaw, as Cho Rim continues, “So he really is the chain murderer, isn’t he?” Jae Pyo returns home, without realising that Kwon has followed him to his house.Moo Gak informs Cho Rim that her father is safe at home, and Cho Rim nods. HAHA you guys are useless and I say this in a very affectionate mannerXD. However, the moment the door opens, they retreat in double panic, and are even more shocked to see a well and healthy Jae Pyo (who is looking at them bewilderedly). In the meantime, the duo starts to panic and decides to get their guns ready. Jae Pyo picks his phone from the floor and apologises for getting drunk so quickly on the wine. He quickly swipes them behind a cushion, before turning to Jae Pyo with a warm smile. To their shock, Kwon admits freely that yes he is, but he bars them from entering his house, “I will bring him out.” What Kwon wants to do is to clean up after his mess – he deletes the message from Jae Pyo’s phone, leaves the phone on the floor and attempts to clean up his tranquillisers when Jae Pyo appears on the stairs. The couple is gone before Kwon stirs, and the duo quickly attacks, “Oh Jae Pyo is in your house, isn’t he?” Moo Gak points his gun at the still body, but is persuaded by Cho Rim to put his gun down, “It will only make you a murderer like him.”Ĭho Rim rushes back into the house to find her father but faints from shock. Moo Gak quickly brings her out, just when Sang Gil and Choong Do arrive on the scene. Kwon rages when he sees an empty house but gets knocked out by Moo Gak when he comes out from the door. Moo Gak holds Cho Rim’s hands and brings her to a side, before turning on the lights again. Foreshadowing, when done right, gives viewers such a kick! Now the scene last episode makes SO much more sense now, with all that conversation about how Moo Gak didn’t know that she could see scents in the dark. With her ability to see scents in the dark, Cho Rim quickly navigates away from Kwon and towards Moo Gak, while Kwon stumbles. Kwon inches closer and touches her hair, “You’ve seen me before, haven’t you?”Ĭho Rim looks to her side and notices Moo Gak’s scent floating in through the door.Īt this moment, Moo Gak flips the light switch. Instead he asks, “Choi Eun Seol, you know me, don’t you?”Ĭho Rim is smart and presses her hands to her mouth to prevent herself from making any noise that will reveal who she is. Just as I’ve guessed in my previous recap, Kwon is unable to recognise Cho Rim. There were parts in this episode which I really liked (cue excitement at the first 3 minutes) and there were bits which were quite disappointing (last few minutes of the episode).
